Birds Milk Jello Dessert

Light, fluffy, and creamy dessert that melts in your mouth! This is a very popular dessert because of its unique texture and flavor. Airy soufflé combined with a chocolate glaze flavor is probably one of the best dessert you will ever try! 

Ingredients

  • 2 packets (14 grams) unflavored gelatin
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 16 oz cool whip thawed
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 5 Tbsp Cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1 packet unflavored gelatin
  • 5 Tbsp sugar
  • 5 Tbsp milk
  • 1 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan combine 2 packets of gelatin with 1 cup milk.
  2. Whisk on medium heat until it just begins to steam (do not boil) remove from heat
  3. Spray an 11 x 13 glass baking dish with cooking spray
  4. Using an electric mixer whisk together sugar, sour cream and cook whip until well blended.
  5. Slowly add the milk mixture while whisking.
  6. Immediately pour into your dish and smooth the top. Refrigerate to cool.
  7. For the chocolate layer- In a small sauce pan, combine cocoa powder, sugar, and gelatin. Add in cold water and milk.
  8. Place over medium heat and bring to a boil while mixing continuously until mixture is smooth. Let it cool for 1 hour.
  9. Slowly pour the chocolate portion onto the cream and let it set overnight. Enjoy!
